Content Providers Benefits
Return to overview
 |
Mobileway's services to Content Providers provide the following benefits:
- Shorter time-to-market: Technical and billing negotiations with individual network operators take 2 to 6 months
for each operator. Connecting to the Mobileway Global Network is done in a few days.
- Ubiquity & Reach: Because many wireless network operators might ask for exclusive deals with content providers,
coverage obtained by content providers dealing directly with network operators could end up being only 30% of the
total available market.
- Reduced Costs: Since Mobileway aggregates traffic from multiple customers, it can negotiate better access prices
with network operators than a single content provider would be able to.
- Increased Revenues: Mobileway can organize the collection of
payments across multiple revenue-sharing deals with
operators, premium-charged IVR/call centers in different
countries, and banking card systems. This ensures that
revenues to Content Providers are maximized in spite of the
logistical difficulties of fragmented wireless networks.
- Availability: Interfaces between wireless networks and the rest of the world are scarce. SMS-Centers have a
limited number of ports and GPRS Gateway Service Nodes have even fewer APNs. Understandably, network
operators limit access to such resources and allocate them only to those entities with enough traffic. Individual
content providers, enterprises, or financial institutions may find themselves locked out of certain operators for a
lack of available "ports." However, Mobileway has enough traffic to gain continuous access.
- Features: Mobileway pro-actively invests in and creates service features that would have limited or no
return on investment if developed by a single content provider for its own use.
- Quality of Service: Mobileway monitors its hub and the connections to the operator's gateways
24x7x365. Permanent quality control is in place to identify if and when gateways to wireless networks are down and to
dynamically route traffic around the points of failure.
- Traffic logging: Secure logs of all traffic for dispute resolutions of transactional services - Automatic routing around failed
gateway access points.
- Identity Translation Services: the ability to route mobile-originated response messages back to individual
email or instant messaging addresses - Stored Value Accounts management: the ability to handle pre-paid
wireless services on a per-message basis with flexible rules for Decrementing the value.

- Future-proof: Mobileway has a dedicated team of account managers dealing on an ongoing basis with network
operators, gateway vendors, and phone vendors. Technical roadmaps are created and followed with these
partners to ensure timely evolution of Mobileway's service offerings.
