Able to access their inbox, calendar, contacts, tasks whilst on the move, users also benefit from setting up parameters to receive alerts by SMS on receipt of an email or reminders for calendar entries.

Microsoft's MIS product family comprises two components: the MIS Enterprise Edition hosted by the corporation and the MIS Carrier Edition hosted by Mobileway to run Mobileway's Mobile Exchange Service. With contracted direct connections in place with 88 of the world's leading operators, Mobileway has an unrivalled global reach and benefits from being carrier agnostic. This last point is of particular interest to a multi-national corporation whose mobile workforce may have mobile devices subscribed to an array of network operators. The demonstration at the 3GSM Congress reveals the speed and efficiency of Mobileway's SMS transport network as well as showing how parameters can be set for users to avoid receiving Spam or other non-urgent items.
