This is particularly the case when mobile users are consumers who cannot be charged through subscription mechanisms, credit cards, or similar high-commitment payment instruments.

MobileWay helps service providers collect payments from mobile users through:

• Phone bills, using profit-sharing agreements with wireless operators.
  
  
• Premium-rate Interactive Voice Response (IVR) systems, using profit-sharing agreements with IVR operators and associated fixed-line operators.
  
  
• Stored Value Account (SVA) systems, holding pre-paid funds that MobileWay can decrement(s) against wireless services.
  

In a manner consistent with its transparency to mobile users, MobileWay does not bill mobile users. Instead, MobileWay helps content and service providers collect payments billed directly by themselves through SVAs or billed by third parties like operators and IVR operators.

As an additional method of supplementing the payment schemes above, MobileWay offers the insertion of advertising into SMSs. By selecting the advertisement insertion service offering, our customers can gain additional revenue when allowing targeted advertisements to be inserted at the bottom of selected Push messages.
