Mobiico and Mobileway are teaming up with The National Hockey League to expand the NHL’s efforts in the mobile market this season with a new mobile community – NHL HockeyNation.
Beginning this NHL season, fans will be able to vote for game MVP’s from the comfort of their couch, play NHL trivia wherever they are, chat about the latest trades and get last minute ticket alerts from their favorite team while out on the town - all on their cell phone using a single shortcode. Fans can also register for these services on NHL.com. Each mobile entertainment program will carry a charge of $.50.

1. NHL MVP Mobile Vote: Tonight’s Mobile MVP of the game as selected by you…on your mobile phone!
Watch, vote and win! Text your vote and you could win $10,000 and a trip to the ’05 All Star Game. Once registered, you will get a voting ballot for all of the NHL broadcast games. Vote for your MVP and you will be automatically entered for a chance to win.
2. NHL REBOUND Mobile Trivia: Hockey trivia in the palm of your hand!
Put on your game face and show what you know. If you’ve got a head for hockey trivia, you could win bragging rights, Authentic NHL jerseys and/or a trip to the ’05 All Star Game. Players will receive a question each day. Get it right and you could win!
3. NHL FACE-OFF Mobile Chat: Let’s text hockey!
If you want the inside scoop, the up-to the minute news or if you just want your opinion known, this is the place to do it. NHL Face-Off Mobile Chat lets you “text smack” with other hockey fans through text messaging and you don’t have to be tied to the desktop. NHL Face-Off Mobile Chat will be available later in the season.
4. Last Minute Ticket Alerts: Your direct connection to the ticket window.
Want to know when those hard to get tickets for your favorite team become available at the last minute? Just register for team-specific Last Minute Ticket Alerts and you’ll be in the know about newly released tickets or great value packages.

The text message flows have been designed using mobiico’s Message Builder process to establish a dialogue within the community. The dialogue process increases the users interest in using other services within the community.
