Today sees further evidence of Mobileway’s continued commitment to its partners and customers in Australia, as the global provider of mobile marketing and entertainment solutions announces several key appointments to further strengthen the management team of its Australia operations.
Matthew Talbot has been appointed as the Head of the Asia operations, spearheading Mobileway’s development of its Full Services business in the region; Cameron Franks joins as Senior Business Development Manager to help augment Mobileway's full service offering and client base; Ryan Bowman has been appointed as Business Development Manager, where he will foster closer relationships with partners and clients; and Keith Loutit has been appointed as the Marketing Director of Asia, where he will inject creative direction in the company’s wireless pitches to broadcasting networks, media partners, production companies and global brands.

Mobileway recently completed a US$23 million Series D round of funding. A new US-based investment partner, Institutional Venture Partners (IVP), joins with existing investors 3i, CDP, Investcorp, Mayfield, Nexit Ventures and Visa. The additional capital will be used to expand into new territories such as China, increase Mobileway’s market penetration in the United States and launch a range of compelling new customer applications. The latest round increases the total capital raised since the company’s inception four years ago to more than US$77 million. It will help Mobileway to capitalize on and shape an unprecedented phrase of growth, innovation and consolidation in the wireless data services market.

Matthew Talbot
Prior to Mobileway, Matthew was based out of Beijing as the CEO of MIG (Mobile Internet Group), providing a white-labeled software infrastructure for the deployment and delivery of content, applications and services to mobile users through its international network of operators.
Matthew built the client base of MIG's mobilized customers to include major brands such as Sony Pictures, Disney, MSN, TV shows like “Who Wants to be a Millionaire” and “Big Brother”, as well as NBA All-Star Yao Ming. Matthew grew MIG from three to over 40-strong team spanning Beijing, Shanghai, Hong Kong, London, Sydney and the U.S.
Cameron Franks
Cameron brings with him a wealth of experience in developing greater interaction between Media and Mobile, having worked for the last three and a half years in Mobileway UK. As a founding member of the UK business, he played an instrumental role in establishing the company as one of the premier players in mobile messaging through the development of early relationships with domestic mobile networks and pioneering some of the UK’s first premium rate SMS projects. Cameron was also credited for developing innovative messaging services for a wide portfolio of clients spanning broadcast companies, leading marketing agencies and a number of blue-chip FMCG companies.
Ryan Bowman
Ryan joins Mobileway Australia after three years at iTouch Australia where he grow both the corporate and consumer divisions within the Asia Pacific Region, cultivating close rapport with advertising, telecommunications, media and Internet clients throughout the region.
Keith Loutit
As MIG’s creative lead and expert in mobile interfaces, Keith was responsible for MIG’s global application development, directing resources simultaneously in both China and Australia. He was the architect of the global wireless deployment of Charlie’s Angels: Full Throttle last winter and also the designer of successful high volume TVC applications, such as Australia’s ‘National IQ Test’ and ‘Big Brother 3 Voting’.
